Last Sunday we had another official race on the Liveforspeed.be league.  The place to race stayed in South City, but the car was transformed into the MRT.. The very nice and easy to drive rear driven cart like racing unit.  A car with a lot of traction, speed, and as told, easy to control as it has a very low point of gravity and feels more like a cart than like a car.  A cart I said, and with that I also can tell you the same very big disadvantage as a cart... No reverse..  And on a close track like South City this often is a big handicap and reason to call the Safety Car..  And low point of gravity also means very short suspension....Also just like a cart.. And also that means it flips over very easily..   Also a reason why we will see the Safety Car more during this race !!!  So it is up to the racers to avoid contact and give each other some room in the corners.. Diving your nose in the inner corner will for sure lead to flip overs when making contact..  Let's see how many times it came out ..

Race 1 - 17 laps:

1:11.41 - ESTMEGADRIFT loses control going to turn 3 and hits the
guardrail causing him to flip. He lands on his wheels, but runs out of
room to turn around so ESTMEGADRIFT calls for the SC. ESTMEGADRIFT gets
himself turned around and going after he called for SC... If you call
for the SC you have to wait for the field to come around to you under SC
speed, and wait for the command to reset to either put your car on its
wheels or to repair your damaged car, before you can catch up with the
rest of the field.

 

1:30.58 - towz-T hits Hanziboy after the SC comes out causing Hanziboy
to lose 4 positions... 20sec penalty for towz-T for causing Hanziboy to
lose 4 positions.

 

1:34.86 - Fridorik passes Odje while under SC conditions... 20sec penalty for Fridorik

1:46.54 - towz-T passed under SC to get his position back. towz-T passed 5 cars.. 20sec for each car passed under the SC, so 1min 40sec penalty for towz-T

 

3:19.15 - ESTMEGADRIFT passes Kangur before the S/F Line... 20sec
penalty for ESTMEGADRIFT

 

 

4:48.47 - Scatter slows going into turn 2 because of Yellow Flag flashing on his screen, ESTMEGADRIFT thinks that maybe Scatter is brake checking him and he turns into the wall to avoid hitting Scatter where he gets stuck. He calls for the SC. But when he is instructed to reset he uses shift-p instead...

7:42.65 - Fridorik moves to the right going into turn 3 and Hanziboy touches Fridorik's right rear causing him to spin. Scatter touches Fridorik in his right side pod, but Fridorik keeps turning left back into the guardrail. SC called... racing incident

8:51.20 - ESTMEGADRIFT leaves the track...

14:23.52 - Hanziboy clips the guardrail at turn 4 causing him to flip over, SC called...

 

17:38.77 - Kangur turns right into Fridorik at turn 1 causing Fridorik to hit the wall, then Hanziboy hits Fridorik which flips Fridorik over, but he lands on his wheels and continues... warning for Fridorik for ignoring the Blue Flag

 

 

 

17:48.10 - Vule touches towz-T going into turn 2 and the both have to go wide in the turn to recover. Vule waits for towz-T to pass him.. racing incident

18:47.89 - Odje touches Salatoimik going through turn 2 and Odje spins his car nosing it into the wall. SC called... racing incident

Race 2 - 17 laps - Reversed Grid Order:

0:32.25 - Hanziboy starts sliding going into turn 1 and bumps Xtian against the wall where Xtian gets stuck needing a SC... 60sec penalty for Hanziboy.

 

0:32.41 - Salatoimik hit towz-T going into turn 1 causing towz-T to flip and has to call the SC... 60sec penalty for Salatoimik.

 

 

 

4:00.33 - Kangur bumps Scatter going into turn 3 causing the rear of Scatter's car to start sliding, then Salatoimik hits Scatter in the side which sends Scatter flipping over. SC called... racing incident.

4:49.12 - towz-T almost drives Kangur off track.. BE careful during yellow flags, keep a safe distance when approaching the stuck car.

 

 

9:46.15 - Hanziboy and Reno have contact going through turn 4 causing both cars to spin. Then Xtian comes onto the scene and has contact with the spinning cars of Hanziboy and Reno and Xtian ends up nosed into the wall needing the SC... racing incident.

15:39.54 - Kangur loses control and slides into the wall at turn 4... racing incident

 

 

18:54.45 - Scatter loses control in the curve going to turn 1 and noses into the wall. SC was called, but it was the last lap, so no SC... racing incident

Race 3 - 17 laps - Reversed Grid Order:

3:09.01 - Vule hits the guardrail at turn 4 causing his car to bounce over in front of Reno, both cars slide facing the wrong way. Reno is able to get turned around and continue, but Vule is not as lucky and ends up nosed into the guardrail needing the SC... racing incident.

6:26.19 - towz-T slides when he gets on the brakes for turn 2 and ends up nosed into the wall needing the SC... racing incident.

 

 

 

 

9:01.30 - Odje bumps Hanziboy's left rear going into turn 2 and spins him around causing Hanziboy to lose 5 positions... 20sec penalty for Odje

 

 

10:31.40 - Fridorik loses grip coming out of turn 4 and slides into the guardrail. He gets turned around, but not after losing some positions... racing incident

12:06.97 - Fridorik starts sliding when he gets his right side tires on the curb in turn 2 and ends up sliding into the guardrail. SC called... racing incident

12:20.61 - Scatter, with a broken right rear suspension, spins after turn 2 while getting back on the throttle and spins into the guardrail needing the SC also... racing incident

18:13.15 - Scatter clips the guardrail in turn 4 causing him to lose control and nose his car into the guardrail after turn 4. Since the leader is on the last lap Scatter spectates... racing incident
